CG Financial is an award-winning financial software development and quantitative consulting company with specialist expertise in financial modelling and spreadsheets and transaction data systems.

CG Financial was founded in 2000 by Dr Stephen Todd, a former Derivatives Fund Manager and Quantitative Analyst in the City. CG Financial offers a unique combination of a solid technology and multi-media disciplinary background with deep knowledge of the financial services sector. The company initially specialised in executing bespoke software and web development solutions for clients such as PWC Ireland.

In 2004, CG Financial sharpened its strategic focus by utilising its understanding of risk, strong mathematical and development skills to build solid and reliable risk control tools for clients such as F&C. CG Financial moved to leverage its skill base to enter this market and developed a set of modules called RiskOptix.

In parallel, following a two year relationship with an e-commerce insurance company operated by UK & Ireland, CG Financial cultivated an understanding for the Insurance Industry and the market’s lack of experience in regards to cost and production of e-commerce web development. This knowledge lead CG Financial to create its BrokerMill platform.

Similarly, working with companies such as Scottish Life International. CG Financial has grown deep insights into the IFA and fund provisioning sector and packaged these solutions as Investor ClearView.
